I am impressed with this site. I have been looking for alternatives to scoliosis surgery for my 14 year old daughter who is currently wearing a hard shell scoliosis brace. I would like to transition her over to a Spinecor brace. Do you have an office near Reno?

My name is Karen 14 year old daughter Elaine has been getting scoliosis treatment at the SpineCor Center of San Jose for the past year. They fit her with SpineCor scoliosis brace and taught her Schroth Method of scoliosis exercise. We were hoping to stop the progression of her scoliosis but we got more than we had hoped for because it also helped reverse her curves as well.

This is fantastic because Prior before we came to Spinecor Center of San Jose my daughter had been seen two orthopedic surgeons. Both had recommended she wear a turtle shell like static scoliosis brace. After seeing how restrictive that was it didn’t seem like a good option for her. option to us. I am so glad we found Dr. Deutchman’s office instead. The Spinecor brace is so much easier for her to wear as she can hide it underneath her clothes, so no one knows she is wearing a brace. This is a much better option for an active girl like her. It is worth every penny.

I’m 45 years old and I was born with scoliosis. Over the years my scoliosis pain got so bad I couldn’t work.

Doctors told me there was nothing for my pain, except medications and P.T., so they sent me to physical therapy and that only provided me with some slight relief.

One day I was shown an article about the Spinecor scoliosis brace. I went on-line to find a doctor who provided the brace and found Scoliosis Dr. Deutchman at Spinecor Center of San Jose in Campbell California. I send him an email and in a couple of days he called me and we talked about my congenital scoliosis . He said that they had helped others with simular conditions so he might be able to help me too.

So I took the chance and scheduled an appointment to see him for scoliosis treatment and it has made a world of difference.

Since wearing the Spinecor brace and doing the scoliosis exercises I have no longer have to lay down all the time due to my pain. Wearing the brace has allowed me to return to work too. I would recommend it to other adults with scoliosis.
